Happy New Year 2010: Pune – Goa
A long ride after starvation of many months…
Though it's been 2 months after the ride, not worth skipping it without making a note here...
Ride reminds me of New Year ride in 2007…
Solo, almost nonstop to Goa…
A solid crash at Amboli ghat (riding gear, the real life saver. I’m in one piece. Learning- honk at hairpins)…
Return on the longest route with longest ever time possible…
What a nice package…
Morjim beach is cool.
I’m visiting this lovely peace of land for the first time. It’s not just the fact that booze is less than half the price compared to other place, attracts people to this place. (Btw, old monk full is just Rs.110 compared to Pune’s Rs. 252 and KF premium is Rs. 44).
Shallow water on beaches is inviting. The combination of beach on side and hilly terrain on the other side is totally awesome.
Good to meet moshaii... He’s done a great ride from KL to Goa and then back to Bangalore. And ofcourse final leg of Sam’s south west India exploration turned out to be exiting.
Return with Sam and Binoy…
The saddest part of this ride- no camera and no pics… only memories…
Bike performed like a monster. Lovely… I’m thinking of getting a pair of earplugs. Goldie is going to blast my ear drums one day on some highway.
Thanks to the riding buddies for the amazing company.
